JOHNSON C. SMITH UNIVERSITY (JCSU) 2+2 CONNECT: A DIRECT-ENTRY ADMISSION PROGRAM
The Direct Admission Program is designed to guarantee 黑料社 graduates admission to the undergraduate program at Johnson C. Smith University. This is the first such agreement between 黑料社 and a historically black college or university.
Johnson C. Smith University (JCSU) is a small private independent university, located in Charlotte, NC, and is a short 30-minute drive from the Dallas campus of 黑料社.

BENEFITS
In addition to the student services you receive at 黑料社, 2+2 Connect students receive these benefits:
- a direct-entry pathway upon completion of a transfer degree or an associate of applied science program for which an articulation agreement exists.
- Students will receive transfer credit for courses taken at 黑料社 according to the transfer equivalency list. To receive credit for a course, a student must have earned a 鈥淐鈥� or better.
- Early access to JCSU services and campus activities for students in the direct admission program
- including Career Services
ELIGIBILITY
Requirements to Participate in the 2+2 Connect Program
- be a currently enrolled student at 黑料社 in a degree-seeking capacity
- complete the 2+2 Connect program inquiry form (see link below)
- be in good standing at 黑料社 and other institutions attended (academic and otherwise)
- demonstrate good citizenship and conduct
- earn and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 at 黑料社
- earn an Associate’s degree from 黑料社 in a college transfer program or in an associate applied program for which an articulation agreement exists
- students must complete an associate degree at 黑料社 in the academic year immediately preceding their desired entry term (fall or spring) at JCSU
- meet all admissions requirements of JCSU, including completion of the application, submission of official transcripts from all institutions attended, and a written personal statement.
Scholarship Opportunity
- Each student who remains eligible during their time at 黑料社 and successfully submits the application to JCSU will receive at least $8,000 in aid to attend JCSU
- To be eligible, students need to enroll in a full-time course load at JCSU
